WARRANTY & RETURN POLICY

1. MERCHANDISE AND PARTS PURCHASED FROM NUVO TECK LTD.

  1. 1.1     Nuvo Teck Ltd. (NTL) offers a lifetime warranty against defects in material and workmanship on its manually operating roller shading systems from the date of shipment from its Concord Factory.

    1.2     Should any failure to conform with this warranty appear during the specified period under normal and proper use and provided the equipment or part has been properly stored, installed and maintained with due regard to any directives, instructions and operating procedures provided by the manufacturer, NTL shall, upon presentation of proof of purchase, correct such nonconformity either by repair or replacement, F.O.B. factory, at its option, of the nonconforming part. Return of equipment or part pursuant to this paragraph shall be at purchaser's risk and expense.

    1.3     NTL warrants equipment or parts thereof repaired or replace pursuant to the above warranty, under normal or proper use, storage, installation and maintenance, against defects in design, workmanship and material for a period of 30 days from date of start-up of such repaired or replaced equipment or parts, or the expiration of the original equipment warranty, whichever is longer.

    This warranty does not cover defects resulting from misuse or failure to follow instructions. This warranty does not cover any incidental or consequential damages, labour on location, service calls, reinstallation, or expenses involved in shipping, packing, and returning the goods. It does not cover misuse or abuse, damages caused by fire, flood, etc. Any alteration or repair other than by a factory authorized person will invalidate this warranty.

    THE FOREGOING WARRANTIES ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OF QUALITY, WRITTEN, ORAL OR IMPLIED, AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED. Correction of non-conformities in the manner and for the period of time provided above shall be purchaser's exclusive remedy and shall constitute fulfillment of all liabilities of NTL whether in warranty, contract, negligence, tort, or otherwise with respect to the equipment or part delivered hereunder. NTL shall in no event be responsible for providing working access to the defect, including disassembly and re-assembly of equipment or parts.



2. RETURNS

  1. 2.1     NTL manually operated shading systems are customized and as a rule cannot be returned. Any goods to be returned to NTL factory for repair, credit or otherwise, do require prior authorization and must be clearly marked with the RGA (Return Goods Authorization) number issued by NTL customer service. No return goods will be accepted unless clearly marked with RGA number. Any return shipment to NTL must be freight prepaid. All shipments out are shipped FOB, freight collect, best way unless arranged otherwise. Final acceptance of return goods is subject to factory inspection. Restocking charges will apply.
